Shannon and Ryan discuss his newly released book, ‘Somewhere in the Skies: A Human Approach to an Alien Phenomenon.’ It covers personal stories from people that have had close encounters with craft, lights, beings, abductions, and other strange happenings. These accounts changed their lives.
We welcome Patty and Claudette. Two experiencers with very different stories.
Patty was always an avid stargazer, and in March of 2005 she and her family began seeing things in the sky that ended up transferring to incidents in her home.
Claudette is on later and tells us of a terrifying event when she was 4 years old. She recalls being taken in the middle of the night from her bedroom. Her life has never been the same.

Can I make a suggestion for you, Shannon, to make the listening experience more convenient for podcast listeners? When your podcasts feature guests, could you put in the info section the minute and second mark where each guest’s interview starts?
In this episode, I found myself wanting, very badly, to skip ahead from Patty’s portion of the podcast to Claudette’s but did not know where the second interview started. Between her extremely soft and slow-paced speaking style, frequent backwards tangents, and focus on minutia like her daughter’s clothing and the specifications of her digital camera (notwithstanding that digital cameras and photography have been one of my main hobbies since 2002), I was having a lot of trouble focusing on Patty’s tale told at 1/10th real-life pace and wanted to move on to the next guest.
